Tournaments in Bellinzona and Bulle

Switzerland 25 May 2010 at 18:10 | Published by: omaggi | Views: 7376 | News search

Tournaments in Bellinzona and Bulle The last weekend in Switzerland 2 tournaments were played. The first one was in Bellinzona on concrete and the second one was played in Bulle (where the Swiss Championship will be played in July) on T5000.

In the first tournament there were about 50 participants and the level of playing was pretty high. The best results was played by Peter Weber (MC Amriswil) with 85 in 3 rounds and also by Daniel Di Grazia (MC Bellinzona).

In Bellinzona only one blue score were done: in fact Peter Weber, in the first round, played 24 with a 3 on lane 8.

The top 5 of the tournament:
1. Peter Weber (MC Amriswil) 85
1. Daniel Di Grazia (MC Bellinzona) 85
3. Omar Maggi (MC Olten) 87
4. Pino Longo (MC Bellinzona) 88
5. Simone Bruno (MC Bellinzona) 89

In Bulle there was a tournament with 51 players. The best player was Pierre Koestinger from the home-club of MC Bulle, with a great 92 in 4 rounds (24, 22, 22, 24).

Best result in 1 round was 21 played by Samuel Hofer (MC Eichholz Gerlafingen) and Alexandre Schouwey (MC Yverdon).

The top 5 of the tournament:
1. Pierre Koestinger (MC Bulle) 92
2. Samuel Hofer (MC Eichholz Gerlafingen) 95
3. Marvin Hauri (PC Ergolz) 98
4. Alexandre Schouwey (MC Yverdon) 98
5. Martin Eicher (MC Neuendorf) 103
5. Christian Kurzen (MC Bulle) 103
5. Stéphane Ziegenhagen (MC Bulle) 103

It will be a very difficult and maybe with some surprises on the next Swiss Championship in Bulle, because this T5000 system is pretty difficult and very few people know it very well. So we will see what will happen from 23 to 25 July 2010.
