Maggi did the "TRIPLETE"

Switzerland 20 Jun 2010 at 22:11 | Published by: omaggi | Views: 5486 | News search

Maggi did the "TRIPLETE" This weekend was played only one tournament in Switzerland. In fact we played on one of the oldest lane in the world: in Locarno (concrete).

The weather was cold and foggy with a little bit of rain.

The total of players were 44 with 3 "italians" of MC Vergiate.

After the winning in Losone (miniatur), Tenero (concrete) and the 3rd place in Bellinzona (concrete), Omar Maggi from MC Olten won also in Locarno with a good 86 in 3 rounds ( 30 / 29 / 27 ).
Maggi was also the only player with a "green" average.

With this winning Maggi confirm to be in a good condition to play well on the next SwissChampionship in Bulle in July.

This tournament in Locarno was also the last one that counted for the qualification to the SwissChampionship.

Here the winner of all the categories:

Junior:
1. Pontalli Elia MC Bellinzona 104

Woman Oldtimers:
1. Goglione Susy GSP Le Palme 93

Man Oldtimers:
1. Schäppi René MC Verzasca-Tenero 90

Woman:
1. Genardini Nadia GSP Le Palme 96

Man:
1. Omar Maggi MC Olten 86

Team:
1. MC Verzasca-Tenero

Next week we will play the last weekend of the TeamSwissChampionship on the felt course in Gampel.
The standing after 2 tournaments is the follow:

Man:
1 MC Eichholz Gerlafingen 1 91
2 MC Olten 91
3 MC Neuendorf 1 87

Woman:
1 MC Effretikon 49
2 MC Neuendorf 46
3 MC Olten 41

It will be a very good tournaments and the winners will go to the EC in Wien.
In the woman categorie, the MC Effretikon is qualified cause they won last year in Vaduz.
