The last weekend (24-25 july), the 11th Commelle-Vernay's Masters were performed on the MGCR ( Minigolf Club Rhodanien) eternite course near Roanne.
It's a particular competition in France.
On the saturday afternoon, the players take place in two groups and play two qualification rounds. The best three players by groups are qualified and waitting to the day after.
The other players replayed two rounds in two new groups and one another time, six players are qualified for the sunday.
The sunday morning, one round is played and the fourth last players are qualified and the losers play an alternative tournament.
The second part consists in a KO tournament on one round.

So the best average is not inevitably the winner.
The winner this year was Philippe Lheritier (Lugdu MC) after a tactical tournament who wins face to face Nicolas Fournier (MGCR and French Federation's president).
For the third place, Bernard Miviere (MGC Samauritain) wins face to face Remy Vallin (Lugdu MC).
