Last weekend on the concrete lane in Bellinzona, was played the tournament called "Turrita". This year was the 25th time that the tournament was played.

This time the participation was also pretty important, in fact 94 players from all the Switzerland and also from Italy met in Bellinzona.

The weather during the weekend was good and the temperature was between 25 and 30 degrees.

In the kids category, the new SwissChampion Elia Pontalli (MC Bellinzona) won without any problems with a very good 89 in 3 rounds.

In the female oldtimers category, the homeplayer Sacco Liliana played a wonderful 86 with 3 "green-rounds". For the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, 3 players played 97 points and so we needed a "sudden-death". Susy Goglione (GSP Le Palme) reached the 2nd place, Annemarie Mäder (SGC Fribourg) the 3rd and Sylvie Riesen Aerne (MC Effretikon) the 4th one.

Walter Grossen (MSC Thun) won the male oldtimes category with 87 points and in the 2nd round he played the best one with 25. The 2nd place goes to Peter Weber (MC Amriswil) that played 89. Peter is also the owner of the one-round record in Bellinzona with 23 points. The 3rd place goes to Pino Longo (MC Bellinzona) with 92 points.

In the woman category, Concetta Cristofalo from MC Bellinzona won with 97 points, before Augusta Huber (MC Bellinzona) 100 points and Melanie Blaser (MC Olten) 101 points.

In the man category, Jean-Louis Cazzato (GSP Vergiate) won with 85 points. This was also the best result of all the tournament. The 2nd place goes to Aldo Gilgen (MC Verzasca-Tenero) with 86 and Omar Maggi (MC Olten) reached the 3rd place with 87 points. In this category, 7 players played a green-average.

The team category was played on 2 rounds and was won by MC Bellinzona (Simone Bruno, Daniel Di Grazia, Pino Longo, Elia Pontalli, Luca Rossini) with 236 points, the 2nd place was reached by MC Olten (Melanie Blaser, Omar Maggi, Cedric Mathys, Michel Rhyn) with 242 and the GSP Vergiate, with 244 points, reached the last place on the podium.
