Asian Open to be played in Iran 2014

According to a news flash on the WMF News site that is written by the AMF General Secretary, Arash Pooyanmehr, the 2014 Asian Open will be played on Kish Island, Iran.
The Asia Minigolf Sport Federation (AMF) will working forward to the working together with the Iran sport organization to ensure the preparations.
The newsflash is not telling on what surface/surfaces the competition will be played.
The 2012 Asian Open will be played in Thailand and Japan is interested for 2016.

14 Mar 2011 at 19:29 | Not a good idea to give Asian Open to Iran for female players. Should they wear a burka during training and tournament ? Until today every woman has to wear a long coat and a headscarf in public. The other thing are difficult political conditions. |
