It could have been very calm weekend in the Czech minigolf world two weeks ago, but playing another round of extraleague and knowing that in the afternoon there would be a tough fight between Czech and Russian hockey players made it very special. Despite the fact that a lot of players couldn´t concentrate on minigolf, they were able to play nice results on this eternit course in Plzen.
In the team competition SK Tempo Praha took the victory. Like in the last tournament, it was only 3 strokes ahead the second team, but this time it was MGC Olomouc who took the silver position. These two teams were followed by 1.DGC Bystrice „A“ on the third and GC 85 Rakovnik on fourth place, playing the same result.
In the ladies league again Brno girls easily took the victory with 18 strokes ahead the second team 1.DGC Bystrice pod Hostynem.
The best male player was Josef Vozar (SK Tempo Praha) with average 21,5 – surprisingly he was not playing in the team competition. Again like in the last tournament, there were three players able to reach the silver medal with 4 strokes behind. The sudden death won Bretislav Sedlacek (1.DGC Bystrice p. Hostynem). The third place took David Bilek (MGC Olomouc).
The next league round takes place in Prague in two weeks. We will see if MGC Olomouc will revenge their second place... » results
