Russian championships 2011 showcased the ever rising skill level of Russian minigolf,
as Sergei Fokin took gold with total score 174
(avg 21.75) after 8 rounds at the
eternite course of Nizhniy Novgorod.
Sergei Kovilyaev was second, only one point behind Fokin, with score 175
(avg 21.88). Also Igor Pantelimonov stayed in the pace of the top group,
taking bronze with score 177
(avg 22.13).
The level of game was excellent also in women’s class, as Natalia Machehina took gold with total score
185
(avg 23.13).
Anna Pritykina was second with score 194
(avg 24.25), and Tatiana Chesnova took the bronze medal with score
196
(avg 24.50).
