According to the latest statistics, World Minigolfsport Federation has 16,037 officially registered,
active competition players in 31 countries and 4 continents.

WMF expects to add three new member countries at the Delegates Conference in Stockholm, Sweden
on 21 August 2011: Croatia, Israel, and Turkey. Other new interested countries, which are not
ready for full WMF membership yet, are Ireland, Kosovo, Mongolia, Pakistan and Spain.
However, some current WMF member countries have lost all minigolf competition activity in recent years
(as can be seen in the statistics above). WMF will have to cancel the membership of some countries in future,
for example these countries, which no more have any competition players or contact persons who would continue
discussions with WMF: Australia, Cyprus, Moldova, New Zealand, Singapore, and Ukraine.
Also some previously interested registrar countries need to be cancelled, for the same reason:
Brazil, Nigeria, and South Africa.
The balance of these expected changes in WMF member countries is slightly on the negative side: three new
member countries coming in, six current member countries going away in near future, and three more member
countries no longer have any competition activity. Five new interested
registrars coming in, and three current registrars going away.
