WAGM 2014 will take place for the first time outside Hastings, GB. Swedish Federation has sent an application to host the event on the course of Gullbergsbro BGK in Gothenburg.

Please visit www.gullbergsbro.com for more information about the course.

The WAGM 2014 will take place on the weekend of 17-18 May, most likely Saturday and Sunday as competition days like last time in Hastings. The tournament format will remain more or less unchanged, with some possible minor changes. The invitation and more information on the tournament will follow in the next weeks.

WAGM 2015 will go back to Hastings to the Pirate Course, which has already hosted the event three times. Me and my colleagues in WMF TC and Board are very grateful to BMGA for its flexibility to solve the dilemma of two applications in a smooth way, and therefore we have decided to award the WAGM 2015 already now to Great Britain.

I hope to see as many players and teams as possible in Gothenburg in May and also warmly welcome your applications for WAGM from 2016 on! If you are interested in organising other international MOS tournaments in your countries, please contact me and we'll see together what WMF can do for promoting your event.
