The second leg of the Finnish league took place on concrete and was held at Tampere. The competition was fierce both because of weather and matches. Manse 1 started the competition at the top of the league. It got to play now on it's home courses and was considered one of the favourites on concrete. Saturday's game day was a little shattered by rain breaks and stormy winds. Manse 1 couldn't get a full 6 points from it's first three matches as the other Finnish team to have a concrete course, Botnia from Vaasa, defeated the home team by a margin of 5 shots. Botnia had a good first day as it got wins over Manse 1, SMGK and TaRGS. MG-Aces from Pori proved to be a team that Botnia could't overcome in the first round. TuRGS from Turku got 2 wins out of 3 games, but the teams from Helsinki, SMGK and TaRGS had difficulties and SMGK got only one win.
Sunday was a better day when considering the weather. Manse 2 gathered it's troops after Saturday's defeats and took huge wins from league top-3 teams MG-Aces and Botnia. This was a huge factor for Manse 1 as two of it's best rivals this year suffered a loss. TuRGS had good matches against Botnia and Manse 1 but lost both by a few shots. SMGK and TaRGS continued poorly.
The supposed climax of the weekend was to be the final match between Manse 1 and MG-Aces. With a win MG-Aces would have been tied at the top with Manse 1 with 18 points. MG-Aces played easily one of their worst matches in their history and after few big numbers the morale to fight was lost and Manse 1 secured a 4 point margin at the top of the league by a win of 36 shots! Manse's 4th player, Oskari Vihervaara, scored 27, which was the best individual round of the tournament. MG-Aces Jussi Heino also scored 27 at one point.
After felt and concrete, the top 3 places remain unchanged and the standings are as follows:
Manse 1 - 20 points
MG-Aces - 16
Botnia - 14
TuRGS - 11
Manse 2 - 10
TaRGS - 7
SMGK - 6
The last competition of the league is 23rd-24th of July at Vantaa on eternite.
