Västsvenska Inomhustouren 1 Played on November 11 at Askims BGK

Sweden 30 Nov 2016 at 16:18 | Published by: PatPenguin | Views: 15336 | News search

Västsvenska Inomhustouren 1 Played on November 11 at Askims BGK On November 11, the Västsvenska inomhustouren kicked off at Askims BGK, which is the first of four competitions within the tour.

It's nice to see that Tuve once again has started up some youth activities and that Matilda was the winner of the overall youth class. Gullbergsbro continues with their youth activities with two young participants.

Class C was won by the home favourite, 84 year old, Uno Hansson, Askims BGK.

Class B was won by WAGM medalist Anders Lönnqvist, Kungälvs BGK.

Class A was won by Jens Bergström, Askims BGK where his former club mate in Tuve, Örjan Johansson came in an incredible finish on last two rounds. Very tight class with first six players within four strokes.

On November 20th, it was time for their teams to have the first ever battle with their best teams. Kungälv, Askim, Gullbergsbro and Skoghall all have former WAGM medalists as well as medalists from the British Open so there will probably be some world class playing in those games. You can see our article on it here (Indoor League of Western Sweden Kicks Off) .

Thank you to Jens Bergström for the information in this article.
