Ladislav Trnka conquered Slovak championships 2008 with a win margin
over 20 points, at the felt and eternite courses of Prievidza.
Michal Ištván took silver, after a tight battle against Marcel Korínek
in third place.
Ladislav Trnka is one of the most talented Slovakian players of all time.
His 14th place at World Championships 1999 in Papendal is one of the highlights
of Slovakian minigolf history. Trnka has played seven international major tournaments,
between 1993 and 2002.
Slovakian champion 2008 in women is Erika Chikánová,
with a dramatic win margin some 40 points ahead of
Vanda Kupcová in second place, and Lenka Tarandová in third place.
