Spescha and Vuilliomenet win Teamgolf again

Switzerland 02 Feb 2009 at 11:22 | Published by: Hans | Views: 5288 | News search

Spescha and Vuilliomenet win Teamgolf again Same procedure as last year. Vitus Spescha and Guy Vuilliomenet once again won the International Bassersdorf Teamgolf. The result was a fantastic average of 22.25 on an 80 % indoor beton course. No matter this fantastic achievement they actually played one stroke worse than last year.

This kind of results is truly possible in the Teamgolf competitions. Teams of two players tour the minigolf course, but only one of them plays each lane. If they are unhappy with the score, the other player can play the same lane, trying to get a better score. Only the better score is counted in the final score.

In second place came Reto Sommer and Cedrik Mathys two strokes behind the winners, also scoring the lowest single round of 20, together with 3 other teams.

37 pairs competed in Bassersdorf Teamgolf 2009 most of them from Switzerland, but also some players from Germany.
