SG Arheilgen wins DMV Pokal

The DMV Pokal is a team competition arranged by the German Federation where two teams meet each other in man-to-man matches. This tournament started already in 2007 and was this weekend playing semifinals and finals. The first year (2007) two preliminary rounds where played, second year (2008) eight and quarter finals where played and this Easter semifinals and finals where played in Bad Munder on felt. The teams included at least one woman and where 5 plus substitute.
In the first semifinal MC Ilvesheim and MGC Köln meet. This match was won by Ilvesheim with the score 7-3 and they that went on to the finals.
In the other semifinal SG Arheilgen meet MGC Mainz. This match, between the two Bundesliga Teams, where the moral final when you compare the scores. Nicole Gundert-Grieffendorf and Max Herman won their games for Mainz, but since Rainer Hess, Dennis Kapke and Daniel Klosek won their matches the total score was 6-4 to Arheilgen.
The final then was a total victory for Arheilgen that won with maximal 10-0 against Ilvesheim. Also the match about third price became a non thriller where Mainz proved to be a number to big for Köln. Also this match ended in the scores 10-0, showing that the moral final was between Arheilgen and Mainz.
Best individually this weekend where Daniel Klosek, Arheilgen with 29.0 in average. Second best was Max Hermann, Mainz with 30,3.
