Opening of the season in France - Torreilles

This week-end, it was the opening of the french minigolf season in Torreilles (eternit near Perpignan).
The tournament was provided for Sunday but due to very bad weather conditions, the tournament was finally played on Monday, without a part of the French minigolf team. At the beginning, the tournament was provided for 4 rounds + 2 final rounds for 50% but due to a very huge wind on Monday, the organizers decided to cancel the final rounds. However, the results stay very high due to the wind.
Philippe Lhéritier (MGC Rhodanien) wins the tournament with a bad average of 25.25. Joseph Sanchez (US Torreilles MG) and Gregoire Mangier (CGM Dijon) took the second place and Nicolas Fournier took the third place. In women, Albina Craba (US Torreilles MG) took the third place behind her 2 club friends, Katia Raynal (2nd) and Elodie Sanchez (1st).
The best round during the tournament was performed by Philippe Lhéritier (21). Next step of the French season, the 26 of april in Commelle-Vernay (Eternit near Roanne) where a better weather is expected.
