Viktor Zhabin wins Moscow Cup

Moscow Cup 2009 was played in cool temperatures around +8°C at the eternite course of Moscow Sport University. All participants played 8 rounds, of which 6 best rounds were counted as the total score of the player.

Winner in men’s competition was Viktor Zhabin with average 26.00, after a tied score and sudden death play-off against Konstantin Rukovishnikov. Sergey Chernitsyn was third, with average 27.00.

Natalia Venchikova won women’s competition with average 27.17. Natalia Machehina was second with average 28.67, and Tatiana Selivanova third with average 32.17.
