On Sunday, it was in France the 5th edition of the 200 shots of La Pacaudière (eternit near Roanne). Each player start the competition under a beautiful sun with 200 shots and the goal is to perform the higher number of lane with these 200 shots. The previous record was performed in 2006 by Philippe Lhéritier (MGC Rhodanien) with 161 lanes.
During the week-end, Philippe improved his previous record and performed 166 lanes with the 200 shots but it was not enough to win the tournament. Indeed, the victory came back to Rémy Vallin (CGM Dijon) with 175 lanes performed in 200 shots (20.571 of average). The second place was for Philippe Lhéritier (21.687 of average) and the 3rd place was for Alexandre Pelletier (CGM Dijon) but with a huge difference with the winner (26.00 of average).
With these results, Rémy improved the record of the course on 7, 8 and 9 rounds but not the record on 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 rounds always hold by Philippe Lhéritier since the French championships 2007 where Philippe performed 18-21-19-19-20 during the second day of the competition.
Next week-end, the French league will be played in Dijon to prepare the French Minigolf Championships which will take place in Dijon the first week-end of july.
