27 Sep 2009 at 18:51 | Published by: Nimalu | Views: 9967 | News search
Minigolfnews have taken over the administration of the world records from C-G Andersson, so from now on you can find all records here on our site.
In the future, we hope also to be able to present lists of national records, but for that we need also help from our visitors.
If you know about record lists for your country, please give us a tip.
For now, enjoy the world records! » World records page

30 Sep 2009 at 23:33 | OK, I guess that is correct, I was there myself and we ususally play 3 rounds each day, so it makes sence. Anyway as you say, a good result :-) |
Flow (Florian Wietz) |
30 Sep 2009 at 23:12 | @Nimalu: This is not quite true. He played the first three 18 on the first Day (I guess Friday - because he always plays friday´s on this tournament) and the fourth 18 on his second Tournament day. On Saturday he didn´t play.
However - Sensational :) |

30 Sep 2009 at 18:58 | German National team player Marco Balzer played the 4 rounds on saturday at his home course competition (MGC Olympia Kiel) 18-18-18-18 some years ago....nice "day at work".... |

30 Sep 2009 at 16:09 | "Weekly World News" is not a source to be trusted. It sensationalizes, misrepresents, and probably outright makes up stories. The 200 aces in a row is obviously a falsehood. Don't believe that article, or any others from that publication. The "National Enquirer" would earn a Pulitzer Prize for their newsworthiness in comparison to the WWN. |

30 Sep 2009 at 11:35 | And what about the "Bible-reading cat" and "the man born with head, 1 hand, 1 foot and nothing more"....actually some of these articles were so crazy that they actually were fun to read.... :-) |
brumbrum (Björn Dinau) |

Considering what the other news was in that "magazine" I must say that 200 aces in a row seems kind of not true.
"She was raised by aliens for 12 years" - an article a few pages down... serious huh? |
JJM (John Mittler) |
29 Sep 2009 at 14:26 | As we all know, the unofficial world record is 18 for every type of minigolf courses, also adventure golf. If this article is to be trusted -- a teenage boy in USA played 11 consecutive 18-rounds at an adventure golf course:
http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=5vADAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PA4&dq=%22miniature%20golf%22&lr=&as_brr=1&hl=fi&pg=PA4#v=onepage&q=%22miniature%20golf%22&f=false
Why not, if the course was easy enough. Make an eternite course with 18 easiest lane types of WMF rulebook, somebody would soon break this record. |

29 Sep 2009 at 00:24 | >>Knikjanus
Yes that is correct. For example Stefan Björk played 18 on concrete and Magnus Andersson played 18 on a indoor felt course, both though on smaller competitions. Anyway, somewhere you must draw a line, and we follow the same principles as CeGe. |
Knikjanus (Ernst-Jan Meijer) |
28 Sep 2009 at 09:32 | If I remember it correctly, these world records are only based on international results like EC, WC etc.. so it is possible that some records are actually lower then the figures mentioned here en at C-G's website before this. | Add comment | To add comments, you need to log in.
