Arto Borg, better known to minigolfers as the photographer of European Championships 2008 and Nordic Championships 2009, won the Finnish national tournament in Rahola, Tampere on 30 January 2010.
In the absence of Kosti Salonen and some other top players, Arto gained victory of the tournament with average score 22.00.
This was Arto’s first national tournament victory in nearly 10 years, and a rare eternite victory in his entire playing career, which began in 1970’s. In 1980’s and 1990’s Arto was a regular winner of Finnish felt tournaments, and twice national champion on felt courses. He represented Finland six times at European Championships between 1984 and 1990.
