
Heinz Fischer scores best at IHM

The 80% indoor beton course of Bassersdorf (CH) continues to
see top performances from players of higher age. This time it was
Heinz Fischer of the oldtimers category who set the marching order
in IHM 2007.
Heinz Fischer played an average score
25.00,
just one point outside of a blue total score.
Swiss ranking no. 1 Vitus Spescha was the second best player with his average
score 25.63,
followed by two more oldtimers René Schäppi and Hans Aebersold,
who played an average score 26.00.
The best female player, with an average score
26.75,
was another oldtimer Esther Wicki (bronze medalist and Rookie of the Year
at 1986 European Championships in Wohlen, Switzerland).
This year’s International Hallenmasters (IHM) attracted 85 players
from Switzerland and 10 players from Germany.
