The second of four stages of the Portuguese Individual National Championship (the first one was played in Costa Nova) was held in the city of Porto. This city will organize in 2012 the European Championship of General Class. For that the miniaturgolf course was totally rebuilt and was considered, unanimously, a perfect course for the practise of minigolf.

The championship was played on Sunday with four rounds (2 miniaturgolf+2 minigolf) and in the end the National Championship is led by (after 8 rounds): Men - André Manuel - CM Porto - ( 207 points); Women - Filomena Mendes - FC Vizela - ( 247 points); Male Seniors - Eduardo Salazar - CM Porto - ( 227 points) and Male Juniors - Filipe Góis - CM Porto - ( 260 points).

It is also important to highlight that João Nabais - MC Portugal with 98 points was the winner of the second stage and the only blue result, until now, obtained by André Manuel with a 24 in the beton course.
