Last weekend the Dutch, individual, Championships were played on the courses of RMC de Hole Ridders from Ridderkerk. It was almost tropical and very sweaty weather conditions.

At the ladies catagory it was homeplayer Erica Tromp who started very good with a round of 19. With that score she took the lead before Annie Jasper (Leeuwarden) and Natasja Klarenbeek (Leeuwarden) with 20 and 22. After the first day Erica Tromp was still in the lead with 123 strokes just before Annie Jasper with 125 strokes. On the third place came Wendy van Luypen of the homeclub with 128 strokes before defending champion Natasja Klarenbeek with 132 strokes.

During the second day the difference between Erica Tromp and the other players became bigger and bigger. At the end Erica took the title with 258 strokes. Annie Jasper took the silver medal with 269 strokes just before clubmate Natasja Klarenbeek with 273 strokes.

In the mens catagory Alex Jasper (Dormagen-Brechten) started with a round of 20 strokes just before Remon Verveer from de Hole Ridders with 21. Already during the second round Remon Verveer took the lead and would not give that away anymore. After the first day Remon Verveer lead with 120 strokes before Rene Bos (Geldrop) with 121 strokes and defending champion Andre van Vliet (Appelscha) with 123 strokes. Big favorite Alex Jasper ended on the fourth place with 126 strokes.

Just like in the ladies category the difference between Remon Verveer and the other players became bigger and bigger during the second day. At the end Remon Verveer won, with a strong last round on concrete (25), with 247 strokes. Rene Bos became second with 256 strokes just before Alex Jasper with 258 strokes. Defending champion Andre van Vliet became fourth with 262 strokes.
