Tantogårdens BGK « Back to SwedenTantogårdens BGK was founded at August 14, 1950 by some friends from Stockholm-south. At the beginning the courses were to be found at Sköldgatan in Tantolundens eastern part. In autumn 1986 the club had to move to Skarpskyttegatan, where the courses are still located.
Tanto has won a couple of Swedish Championships as well as four gold medals at the European Cup for clubteams. 2 in the womens and 2 in the mens category. Last time was during 2004 in Spoordonk (Netherlands).
Tantogårdens BGK's players are also widely represented in various national teams. Highlights in 2006 was Karoline Karlsson NC-gold (ind + team) and JWC-gold (ind + teams), Tim Hansson NC-gold (ind + team) and JWC-gold (team), Pierre Zetterlund NC-gold (ind + team) and EC-gold (team) and Erik Tiekstra EC bronze (ind).
