Sjöviken wins in the Olofström Cup

The favorite team before the start, the Swedish Elitserie Bronze medalist Sjöviken 1 Team, won the 4 men Team Cup played today at the Olofström indoor eternit.

What was more surprising was that the young home team from Olofström was really close behind and actually won over Sjöviken 1 in the qualification rounds. Both the teams ended up in 10 points and Sjöviken was the top team after qualification with 6 strokes better than Olofström.

In the Semifinals Sjöviken 1 meet their own Team mates with 3 of 4 of ladies from the Europa-Cup that was playing together in Sjöviken 3. Even if the girls played really well they still was 8 strokes behind their fellow men’s in the Sjöviken 1 Team.

In the second semifinal Olofström was relatively easy beating Värend 1, that was beating them in the qualifications.

In the Final the Oloftsröm could not repeat their good 88 performance from the semifinals and Sjöviken could quite easy secure the victory with 90 vs. 101.

Best individually was :

Leif Nilsson, Sjöviken 1 22,1
Tom Karlsson Forsberg, Olofström 22,3
Lars-Peter Nilsson, Sjöviken 1 22,8
