In three of the four classes in last weekend’s top ten final on the indoor season on the MunktellArenan felt course, there were decisive games for the victory in the last rounds. The A-class as the only exception.
All of these decisive games were won by the player with worse average scores before the last match. Most drama could be found in the B-class were it at the end margin for victory came down to a single stroke.
Noteworthy from the A-class was that the final winner won due to the fact that the two player he had before him in front of the last round of the round-robin play both lost their final games, making it possible for Anders to get up in top.
In the A-class it was rather easy to feel pity for Lennart Jansson who had the best stroke average by far but seemed to meet all players exactly when they performed their match of the weekend with many blue results.
The maybe strangest achievement of the weekend was made by D-class player Lars-Olov Lind’s which had the very strange results of Saturday with 51-52-51-51- 29 also followed by 4 black results on Sunday. What happened on the last round on Saturday nobody really could explain?
