This weekend 3 major finals of the indoor season were played in Sweden.
In the south the Top 8 final was played on Saturday in the Olofström indoor eternite arena. This was won by Jan-Åke Persson, but it was a close race.
The final was played man-to-man and it started by be quite thrilling in the fifth round out of seven when the unbeaten home junior Peter Fransson meet the Sjöviken veteran Jan-Åke Persson. In a tight match they shared the points on 21 strokes and then it was a small advantage for Peter. But in the two remaining matches Peter lost to Filiph Johansson and Per Celander leaving the victory open for Jan-Åke who won one of the two remaining matches and won the table on 9 points (better strokes than Peter).
In another indoor hall in the South of Sweden, the indoor felt course in Landskrona, the Tour-final was played on Sunday. In the Elite class Björn Andersson, from home club BGK Linjen, was in a league of his own. His average on five rounds was 24,8, which is close to world record levels. Second came his team mate Roy-Ingvar Strandh with an average of 25,8.
The last final this weekend was the Top-10 Felt finals in MunktellArena. This man-to-man final was played both Saturday and Sunday and the winner in the Elite-class was Mikael Samuelsson, Tyresö BKG on 14 points. His average 30,2 was only the fourth best in the clas, but he manage to win more games than any others. Best average score had Lennart Jansson of Örebro with 29,4.
