Germany & Sweden lead Nations Cup after day 1

Germany leads group A and Sweden leads group B after day 1 of Nations Cup 2008 in Tampere, Finland.

The competition continues on Sunday with a double round (eternite + beton), after which the two best teams of group A and group B play semi-final and final matches for the victory of Nations Cup.

The third and fourth best teams of group A and group B will play cup matches for ranks 5–8 in the competition. Other teams quit playing after the double round on Sunday.

Standings after Saturday (3 double rounds):

GROUP A

3. 48 Netherlands
4. 40 Finland 1
5. 20 Finland 3
6. 16 Russia 1
7. 00 Great Britain 1

GROUP B
