Vincent Huus closes season with a victory

Denmark 27 Oct 2009 at 12:29 | Published by: Ole | Views: 8344 | News search

Vincent Huus closes season with a victory At his home course, the indoor course at Putter Team Odense, Vincent Huus closed the Danish minigolf season with a victory.
He completed the 4 rounds with a score of 85 strokes, 1 stroke ahead of Peter Sørensen of Odense Minigolf Club and Lars Rosenquist of Minigolf Clubben Gelsted.
After 3 rounds, Martin Lundell of Gullbergsbro BGK (S) had taken the lead with score 64, but the game was tight. Behind him was 5 players with 65. It was Lars Kvæl, Skoghalls BGK (S), Peter Sørensen, Lars Rosenquist, Ole Rasmussen and Vincent Huus. Anything could happen, and so it did.
With his victory, Vincent closed a season that for him started with a victory at the concrete course at Odense Minigolf Club. Remarkable as he has been away from minigolf for some years, but clearly hasn’t forgotten what it’s all about.
At the tournament, 37 players from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany participated.

Thanks Martin and thanks to all of the swedes, norwegian and germans for coming to Odense to battle against us. I hope to see you and many other players from around Scandinavia to various danish tournaments next year.
I plan to come and visit some Swedish tournaments next year as well.

Take care
