Ryner wins Diamond Minigolf Masters

Swedish Carl-Johan Ryner won the final in the Diamond Minigolf Masters against his fellow Swede and club-mate in Uppsala Anders Olsson.
The Diamond Minigolf Masters was an invitational only tournament for 12 players and had managed to get a pretty strong starting field by promising 3000 Euros + 1500 in Diamonds for the winners.
The tournament was played in an indoor eternit facility in Butovice in the Prague outskirts. The 4 best was directly qualified for the quarterfinals and the remaining 8 was playing a qualification match for the final 8.
Ryner and Olsson was also the best two in the two qualification rounds with 42 strokes. Together with Martin Ječný of Czech Republic and Kosti Salonen of Finland they was directly qualified for the final 8.
In the match about 3rd place the winner was Rudi Giroldini from Italy against Czaba Palinkas of Hungary.
