Indoor Team Play in Sweden

The last two weeks a number of team play round shave been played in different halls in Sweden. The winter season team play is arranged by the different regions so the clubs participating is mostly clubs in the close geography of the hall to be played in.
In the indoor hall in Landskrona in the south of Sweden the second round iv the second division was played. Sjövikens IF leads this division on 16 points and best player last weekend was Per Normann, Kulladal on 27,8.
In Munktell Arena the second division played their only winter weekend last weekend. This weekend was a bit surprisingly dominated by the home club of Fröslunda. Two old-timers players Tommy Blixt and Bror Wallen, both playing for another home club Spiik, where the best players of the weekend with 31,4 and 31,6 in average at the hard Munktell felt course. An interesting appearance was made by Fröslundas local youth player Derice Shumilov-Suoho who scored an average of 33,9 in his only second official felt competition ever.
In the south in Olofströms indoor eternit the second round of the team play in Olofström was played. In this hall there is only 3-man teams and its divided in 4 groups. The best player of the weekend was Swedish Senior Team player Jan-Åke Persson , who scored an averga of 21,5. An interesting start was made by the newcomer in the Sjöviken Team Lars-Peter Nilsson. His average of 22,0 shows that he will be a great resource for the Sjöviken Team not only on felt, where he is one of the best in Sweden.
