Just over 50 players were able to play under the cold and windy conditions. That could be seen as a good result because in the same weekend also the 2nd round of the Dutch competition would be played.
Roel Groenhuijsen - playing for RMC De Hole Ridders, from Ridderkerk - won the annual tournament on the beton courses of Ridderkerk with a total score of 119 strokes in 4 rounds. He did this in the senior class. He managed to win the 2 shots in the last round over Tom Pardaans, who is also playing for RMC de Hole Ridders.
Winner in the mens category was homeplayer Remon Verveer with a total of 125 shots and a good score of 25 in the second round. He thereby won with a big difference over Jan Ouwerkerk (MGC Zoetermeer) and Peter Cornelisse (133 - MGC WIK).
A complete "home-podium" in the womens category. Wendy van Luypen won this years tournament with a total of 130 shots, just 2 in front of Marianne Groenendijk (132) and 3 ahead of Erica Tromp (133). » Results
