This Sunday 5 felt competitions were played around Sweden with about 370 players in total. Several of the best players in Sweden where playing at the difficult felt course in Örebro this Sunday. The main reason for that is that it's where the first round of Elitserien is played next weekend. Jonas Gustavsson, BGK Jönköping won in Örebro on 64 beating his fellow national team player Anders Olsson, Uppsala BGK, in sudden death.
The biggest competition this Sunday, with 104 starts, was however played in the Stockholm area in Sundbyberg. In a tough elite field with international players like Lars Brown (64), Karin Wiklund (73) and Erik Tiekstra (68) the home club was dominating. Sundbyberg had 3 players in the top four and the winner was Micke Jonsson at 57 strokes in two rounds. At second place beaten by one stroke was Stefan Borg, also from the home club, at 58.
The other three competitions were a bit smaller. In Göteborg former Swedish national player and coach Daniel Zetterfors won the A-class on 105 strokes over 3 laps. In south Sweden Uppsala player Marcus Larsson won in Granhyddan at 93 strokes on 3 rounds. I south east Sweden Magnus Karlsson of Myresjö won in Kalmar on 96 strokes on 3 rounds.
