Just one week after the tournament in Vysne Ruzbachy 46 slovak minigolf players gathered in Prievidza, location with large minigolf community and great conditions, to compete at new semi-difficult eternite course in 3rd and 4th round of national league.
Victory from both competition days was traditionally taken by domestic team 1. MTGC Prievidza (26,05 and 24,95). It was not that obvious on first day, as current league leader GK Bratislava occupied first place in 3 rounds, but at the end of the day, they failed to keep the shape and fell down to 3rd place (26,65) being overcome by 2nd GK ADARA Trnava (26,55) as well.
The course of second day did not bring any significant movements on first two places. Prievidza clearly won with 18 strokes margin on second GK Bratislava (25,85) and 20 strokes on MTGK Brezno (25,95), who presented good-quality performance especially in later stage.
These two victories allowed them to catch-up GK Bratislava in overall league table sitting only 1 point behind.
Among individuals youth player Radovan Struhár (1.MTGC Prievidza) confirmed an excellent shape and took the trophy for best player in both days with avarege scores 23,25 and 22,25. Just to remind that he had won also one day in Ružbachy a week ago.
A new record of course was set up by current slovak champion Marcel Korinek, who played 19 failing to score only on statistically the most difficult lane - wedge with target window.
Last official tournament of this year is about to be played in Dubnica on 26.-27. september. » results » photo gallery
