There are about 300 recesses on one golf ball, and thanks to them, the ball flies three times farther than a smooth one. ... Balls of the same size...

Player transfers for 2008 season

Europe 03 Feb 2008 at 18:27 | Published by: JJM | Views: 7939 | News search

Player transfers for 2008 season Looking for more international success, also on other playing systems than felt, Uppsala BGK strengthens its men’s team with Marcus Larsson from Malmö BGK.

The women’s team of Uppsala BGK loses some of its phenomenal felt talent, as Jessica Rengbrandt leaves the team to join Granhyddans BGK.

With Sandra Weaver in BGK Jönköping, Karoline Karlsson in Tantogården, and Karin Wiklund & Charlotte Ryner in Uppsala BGK, the female superstars of Swedish minigolf are quite loosely spread around the country for this season.

Bianca Oberweg shakes the balance of German Bundesliga, by moving from BGC Neutraubling to MGC Göttingen. BGC Neutraubling receives Tanja Pscherer from SG Arheilgen, and still remains a strong candidate for top positions in German and international tournaments.

One of the many Norwegian minigolfers residing in Sweden, Susann Johansen, moves from Lövgärdet BGK to Trollhättans BGK, together with her daughter Marie Johansen. (Norway has been away from international competitions for many years, but some Norwegians are still active in Swedish minigolf circles — including Lars Kvael in the coaching staff of Swedish national team.)

Italian team MMC Paderno suffers a mass migration of top-class players to GSP Cusano, including Claudio Santopietro, Pierluigi Marchiani and Sara Marchiani. Michael Prantl moves from MC Monza to SSV Naturns, and GSP Vergiate receives Ivan Baruscotti from the Swiss team MC Locarno.
