Once again Uppsala BGK wins the Swedish Elitserien. This time the series was supposed to be tougher than ever and at least Jönköping and Tantogården would be able to take the victory. Nevertheless it was Uppsala that won for the fifth consecutive year. The last round in Jönköping was never that much exciting for the top teams. Without any big surprises in the Saturday matches the medals was already decided after the 5 matches on Saturday. Uppsala took gold, Jönköping silver and Tantogården bronze.
The remaining two matches on Sunday were more thrilling for the 3 teams in the bottom, which two teams had to leave. Kungälv played two equal games in a row the last two games and by that they managed to keep on the right side of the line by better strokes than Gullbergsbro, who was their opponents in the last draw. Must been nervy for the closer Hans Olofsson in Kungälv on the last lane, but he made it and aced the flash for another year in Elitserien for Kungälv.
This weekend was dominated by Sandra Weaver, who played an astonishing game and used only 9 twos in the seven laps on the not so easy course of Jönköping. With an average of 19,3 she lead as closer her Jönköping to a full point weekend by beating Uppsala in the last game. Second best this weekend was Carl-Johan Ryner, Uppsala with 20,0.

Carl-Johan Ryner, Uppsala (20,0)
Jonas Gustavsson, Jönköping (20,1)
Gustav Björnberg, Tantogården (21,0)
Anders Olsson, Uppsala (21,4)
The total team of the season is (just summing their average on felt, beton and eternit):
1 Anders Olsson, Uppsala BGK (79,8)
2 Jonas Gustavsson, BGK Jönköping (80,4)
3 Sandra Weaver , BGK Jönköping (80,6)
4 Gustav Björnberg, Tantogårdens BGK (82,8)
5 Lars Brown, Uppsala BGK (83,7)
6 Lars Kvael, Skoghalls BGK (85,3)
7 Erik Tiekstra, Tantogårdens BGK (85,4)
8 Filiph Svensson, Skoghalls BGK (86,2)
9 Hans Olofsson, Kungälv BGK (86,9)
10 Linus Sundström, BGK Jönköping (87,0)
10 Marcus Johansson, Södertälje BGK (87,0)
Worth mentioning is also three players that only played two out of the three weekends. They are Carl-Johan Ryner Uppsala, Martin Sjöberg, Jönköping and Thomas Pölder, Uppsala. All three probably on this top ten list if they had played all three weekends.
